Biography

Robert Schwartz is an Associate Portfolio Manager in the Fixed Income group at Federated Hermes, where he supports portfolio construction and risk management across $5 billion in assets. His experience spans the public credit markets, including Treasuries and agencies, mortgage-backed securities, investment-grade and high-yield corporates, and international and emerging market debt. Prior to public credit, Robert worked in private wealth management at First Commonwealth Bank and in corporate finance at PNC. Outside of his institutional role, Robert is an angel investor and enjoys working with entrepreneurs across robotics, software, artificial intelligence, MedTech, FinTech, cybersecurity, and real estate. He serves on the board of 99 Tartans Alumni Angels, a 501(c)(3) organization supporting Carnegie Mellon University alumni entrepreneurs. Robert earned his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and his undergraduate degree in Finance and Legal Studies from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is a registered Investment Adviser Representative holding his FINRA Series 65 license. When time allows, Robert also enjoys traveling, cooking, and the movies.
